Protect the courses you've built.

Lectur protects every recording, live class and document at each step of delivery, and when a copy still gets out, it shows you whose account it came from.

How your content is protected.

Protection starts before a video plays and stays with it until it reaches the student.

  1. The file

    • Every recording is encrypted as soon as it is uploaded
    • It plays only under a licence issued to one viewer, for one viewing
    • Google Widevine or Apple FairPlay, depending on the device
  2. The stream

    • The viewer's email moves across the picture, and playback pauses if it is hidden
    • Playback is refused when the browser is set up to record the screen
    • Picture-in-picture is blocked, so the video never plays without its watermark
  3. The device

    • A limit on devices per student, and on streams at once
    • A second stream from another network is refused
    • Viewing limited to the countries you choose, with alerts on VPNs
  4. The document

    • Protected PDFs, slides and Word files show page by page and never download
    • The AI tutor can still read them to answer questions
    • Files you let students download carry the student's email

If a copy still gets out.

No system can make recording impossible. Lectur makes it difficult, and traceable to the account it came from.

  • The watermark on the copy names the account
  • Every viewing is logged with its device, address, country and duration
  • Block a student, a device or an address the same day
  • Export the log as evidence, for as long as your contract runs

Live classes, under the same protection.

Teach live from the browser, with no room to rent. The class streams encrypted and watermarked, and becomes a captioned recording in the course when it ends.

Bring a recording to your walkthrough.

We'll protect it in front of you, and show you what a student sees, and what you see when someone tries to share it.
